A Real Maker, Not a Factory

Purposeful design, printed to order in our Connecticut studio — and hand-inspected by the same maker who set up your print.

DrMaker3Dは、コネチカット州バーリントンにある小さな3Dプリントスタジオです。デザインも印刷も梱包も、メールにお返事するのも、すべてRichが担当しています。存在感のある照明、インテリア雑貨、ゲーム、ギフトを、ご注文ごとに丁寧にお作りしています。

始まりは1台のプリンターと、数えきれない夜更かし、そして「3Dプリントは機能的なだけでなく美しくもなれる」という頑固な信念でした。自宅用に作っていた作品は、やがて全米へ発送するご注文へと広がりましたが、今もひとつひとつ同じ手でセットアップし、検品し、梱包しています。

すべての作品は受注生産です。ご注文をいただいてから印刷するので、倉庫に在庫が眠ることも、無駄が出ることもありません。

現在スタジオでは、校正済みのマシンと50色以上のプレミアムフィラメント、そしてひとつのシンプルなルールで制作しています。自分の家に飾りたくない作品は、お客様のもとへは送らない、というルールです。データの準備から最終検品まで、基準を満たさないものがコネチカットを出ることはありません。
