LUMA Designer — Supplemental Terms

Effective 1 August 2026

These supplemental terms apply to your use of the LUMA Designer ("LUMA"), the custom lampshade design tool provided by DrMaker3D LLC. They are in addition to our Terms of Service, which continue to apply in full — including governing law, warranty disclaimers, and limitation of liability. Where these supplemental terms are silent, the Terms of Service govern.

1. Licence to use LUMA

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use LUMA to design lampshades and order them from us. That licence transfers no ownership of any kind.

2. Additional restrictions

In addition to the restrictions in our Terms of Service, you may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, pricing logic, geometry algorithms, or manufacturing constraints of LUMA, or any part of it.
  • Reproduce LUMA's functionality in another product or service where you rely on information obtained from LUMA to do so, whether or not you use our code.
  • Use LUMA to develop a competing product, or to benchmark for that purpose.

3. What you make, and what stays ours

Your configuration is yours. The specific combination of shape, dimensions, texture, and finish you assemble in LUMA belongs to you. You may order it from us, or not, as you like.

The system is ours. LUMA itself — its code, interface, algorithms, pricing model, printability rules, and underlying know-how — is owned by DrMaker3D LLC and protected by copyright and trade secret law. Your ownership of a configuration gives you no rights in LUMA, in the parametric system that generates it, in the 3D geometry files LUMA produces, or in configurations created by anyone else.

Design files. Where you purchase a design file, your rights to that file are governed by the LUMA STL Personal-Use License.

4. Prices are quotes

Prices shown in LUMA are quotes generated from your configuration, not offers. We may correct a price that is obviously wrong — a technical error, a mispriced option — before we accept an order. If we do, we will tell you and you may cancel.

5. Availability

LUMA is provided as-is. Printability checks are guidance based on our experience, not guarantees. We may change, suspend, or discontinue LUMA at any time.

6. Enforcement

We may suspend or block access to LUMA if we reasonably believe these terms are being breached. Breach of Section 2 causes harm that money alone may not fix, so we may seek injunctive relief in addition to any other remedy available under our Terms of Service.
