TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) is our flexible, rubber-like material. Parts printed in TPU bend, stretch, compress, and bounce back — perfect when a rigid plastic simply won't do the job.
Why print in TPU
TPU absorbs impact and vibration, grips surfaces, and survives abuse that would shatter rigid filaments. It's the material for gaskets, seals, bumpers, feet, grips, straps, and protective covers. Around shore 95A hardness, it's firm-flexible: think skateboard wheel, not rubber band.

Design tips for TPU
- Wall count and infill control squish: 2 walls + 15% infill is soft, 4 walls + 40% is firm.
- Avoid long unsupported bridges — flexible filament sags while printing.
- TPU prints slower than rigid materials, which is reflected in machine time.
